We have never seen such a vast inventory of quality rooms for the peak season in April. Many reservations for hotels that book up to a year and a half in advance for these dates were canceled as the pandemic unfolded. The holiday peak season (December 20 - Jan 5) is a little different than years past.
September usually is the lowest travel period of the year, but it's going to be one of the busiest times for 2020 as thousands of travelers are rescheduling their vacations. If you're looking for recommendations on when to travel or reschedule your trip, we are recommending to wait until at least September 2020 for your travel dates. So if you have a trip planned during that time, we'd recommend checking with your airline and the sources of your other reservations. Additionally, many airlines have canceled flights until mid-May or later, and many hotels will be closed through at least April and many up until June 1.
